My dad and I started working with Mike in September 2012. In that time, he has turned healthy eating and exercise into a way of life not just for us two, but our entire family. I had been regularly exercising before I met Mike, but had no real knowledge of how to build the body I wanted and was completely overwhelmed by the process. Mike took the reins, working both training and nutrition education into every session in a way that’s easy to understand. Mike really takes an active role in his client’s overall well-being, which is why he should not only be considered a trainer, but a nutritionist, psychologist, and life coach as well. I’ve found it very easy to stay motivated because he is very passionate and confident in what he does. He is an encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to fitness and nutrition, and rarely have I asked him a question that he couldn’t give me a detailed answer to. As a result, I’ve noticed myself grow stronger, more confident, and in the best shape I’ve ever been in my life.

I felt like my life was a roller coaster that wouldn’t end. I would eat, diet, eat, diet; never exercise. I was constantly going up and up. As my weight grew, so did my frustrations and lack of self. I knew there had to be a better way.
I saw Mike Lynch training someone at a local gym. I had the feeling that he was my missing link. I worked out with Mike once a week at the beginning, then twice a week, now three times a week! His knowledge, no nonsense approach mixed in with compassion and humor, helped me to finally get both feet on the ground. I look forward to my training sessions with him. They are always challenging but mixed in with fun and new insights. Eight years later, and 77 pounds down (at only 5’2”), I have learned how to eat and exercise to live, not how to live to eat and exercise. I now love to workout and eat healthy. I never thought I would ever say that!
I changed my life and became a happier more productive individual. Being healthy is number one, but buying clothes that I never thought I could ever wear is the icing on my new kind of cake!
I became a psychotherapist specializing in the issues that affect people from achieving their desired health and weight by dealing with life stresses and challenges, emotional eating, lack of motivation, etc. My educational background and personal history makes this a perfect and successful fit.

My family has been working with Mike Lynch for over 5 years now; this includes my teenage daughter and son, my wife, and myself. Mike is outstanding in that he brings a total commitment to all aspects of his clients’ health. Mike is not just a personal trainer. His knowledge of nutrition and exercise physiology is very sophisticated, and he incorporates this with a personalized exercise regimen to build a comprehensive health program tailored to each client. As doctors, my wife and I have tried to instill our children with an understanding of the importance of diet and exercise, but it is Mike who has been most instrumental in getting them to adopt a healthy lifestyle. They will carry this knowledge with them into their adulthood, and they will someday pass this along to their own children. Working with Mike Lynch can and will change your life.
